A history of advocacy and action

Rams for PRIDE was established in 2025 thanks to the support and guidance of a group of dedicated members of the VCU LGBTQIA+ community. The initiative’s goal is to empower individuals, amplify voices and cultivate meaningful connections.

With a gift to the Rams for PRIDE Fund, members enjoy connection with a passionate network of alumni, donors and allies while directly advancing VCU programs and initiatives that uplift and center LGBTQIA+ experiences. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Gay Alliance of Students, we encourage individuals to join at the following amounts:

$5,000 over a five-year period ($1,000/year or $84/month)
$500 a year ($84/month)
$50 annually

Per VCU policy, all are invited to join, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Membership recognition is renewable annually.
