Whether you have an hour to spare or you’re looking for a regular commitment, there are countless opportunities to volunteer at VCU.
You can help out at alumni and campus events, mentor current and prospective students on their education journey, or lend your expertise as a guest speaker or panelist. If you’re looking for a deeper commitment, you can join one of VCU’s 80 leadership boards and councils or lead a local or affinity-based alumni chapter.

Tisha Young (B.S.'04)
After volunteering as a VCU student, Tisha Young (B.S.'04) stayed engaged wherever she lived. When she returned to Hampton Roads, Virginia, she found a welcoming VCU Alumni community that quickly became like family and eased her transition home.
