Mentoring

SHARE YOUR EXPERTISE

Provide one-on-one career advice to students and other alumni.

Pay it forward

There’s no better way to give back to the university that launched you than to help other Rams build their own careers.

As a mentor, you’ll draw on your real-world experience to help the next generation as they embark on postgraduation life. Through one-on-one conversations with students, you can offer guidance on how they can make the most of their time at VCU and provide practical strategies for navigating the work environment. You may also advise fellow alumni on social and leadership skills to be successful and encourage connections within your industry network.

Mentor partnerships start as a short-term commitment, although many evolve into lifelong professional relationships.
