Grad events

Celebrate your achievements as you prepare for Commencement — and after you’ve crossed the stage.

Grad Fair

The Grad Fair is your first stop on your path to Commencement. Stop by the Barnes & Noble on your primary campus to purchase your cap and gown and learn about resources and services available to you as you graduate.

Representatives can talk through payment plan options and size your ring. Ring sales take place 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 8-10 in the Commons outside of the POD.
  • Order graduation announcements: See the complete range of official VCU announcements offered by Balfour. Order early so you get them in time.
  • Take a graduation portrait: Once you have your cap and gown, sit for your professional graduation portrait by GradImages with studio-quality lighting. You will receive proofs via email showing various background options. There is no obligation to purchase the portrait.
  • Select a diploma frame: View a selection of high-quality frames by Framing Success, available at Barnes & Noble or online at framingsuccess.com.
