VCU Alumni Council

Help shape the future of the university.

The VCU Alumni Council collaborates with alumni, Development and Alumni Relations staff and other campus partners to increase the value and reach of alumni services by creating more engagement and volunteer opportunities for chapters and constituent organizations.

As a member, you will:

  • Champion: Advocate for VCU and our alumni and stay informed of university and alumni initiatives, news and events. 
  • Invite: Use your personal and professional networks to encourage alumni engagement with VCU.
  • Invest: Contribute your time, talent and resources to VCU and invest in the future of the university.   

You’ll also help strengthen the worldwide VCU community by: 

  • Engaging with alumni based on their affinities and interests
  • Amplifying alumni voices and sharing their accomplishments
  • Building community and connections among all alumni
  • Supporting the student-to-graduate transition by fostering strong relationships and networks
  • Embracing the diversity and legacy of the university
  • Contributing to VCU’s culture of philanthropy by investing in the university
